If you do not want to eat and drink great food & beverage at the
ADTA Greenbrier Annual Meeting, you may stop reading.
Otherwise,
let your ADTA Hosts give you a little “Let’s Eat” tour. The Greenbrier
has a wide variety of restaurants on site, and we have snapped up reservations
for a bunch of tables (more on that later). Here
is a link to the Greenbrier Restaurant Collection.
If
you have never eaten at the elegant Main DiningRoom of the Greenbrier, it should be tops on your list. Dress up and
head there for an elegant meal. The best things about the main dining
room are food, the gracious southern service, knowledgeable wine stewards and
the bread lady, whose sole job is to bring fabulous breads, biscuits, cornbread
which you’ll be tempted to slip into your pocket for later. Take a peek
at the Traditional Heritage Menu, here.
Named
for West Virginia’s favorite son, Jerry West, Prime 44 West is
a classic steakhouse serving some serious, and we mean serious, beef (and other
stuff, including award winning cornbread). You’ll enjoy the food and
atmosphere - the Jerry West memorabilia on the walls is worth the trip.
Take a peek at the menu, here.
If you happen upon the Casino, you’ll see one
of our favorites for a lunch or a quick bite to eat, Draper’s, which
overlooks the Casino. Newer additions include In-Fusion which
features “modern Asian cuisine, a fresh sushi bar, and a sampling of innovative
Pacific Rim dishes.” It’s right next to the casino. Across
the hall is CaféCarleton, which has ready-made sandwiches and other stuff.
We are sure the ADTA Nation will eat and drink
well at the Greenbrier. We haven’t even started on Lewisburg
restaurants…..
