One of our great optional events is a short bus ride to Smooth Ambler Spirits in Maxwelton, West Virginia, just north of Lewisburg (America’s CoolestSmall Town 2011 – more later!).  Smooth Ambler’s Greenbrier Gin was chosen a national finalist in the prestigious Good Food Awards being handed out on January 19, 2013, in San Francisco (articles here and here).  We’ll know soon whether we’ll be sampling the Gin Oscar Winner during our private ADTA tour.

Smooth Ambler is a small business.  The guys you’ll meet during your tour are the guys who “make the mash.”
